Inspired by stories of war, deception and the power hungry who pull the strings behind world events, Eradication is old school thrash metal aggression tempered with modern progressive melody.

Official Video - Iron Entities

The song Iron Entities is written about the WW2 mystery of who finally stopped the destruction caused by Nazi tank ace Michael Whittman a.k.a. the Black Baron. Caught in the crossfire between French airplanes and Canadian and British tanks, there had always been a dispute between the three allied countries about who finally stopped the 007 Tiger Tank. By combining historical information with modern technology and forensics, scientists were able to re-create the last battle scene and determine it was Canadian Sherbrooke tanks who had fired that fatal shot. A missing piece of Canadian history now told.

Album Update

We wanted to throw out an update on where we are with our second album. Originally we were hoping to have something out this winter, but got delayed due to those kinds of things the world throws at you just to see if you're paying attention. We do have several new songs written and a few more in the works that just need to be hammered out before we step into the studio. If you had the chance to catch us live this past summer, you likely heard some of the newer stuff. It's a little faster, a little more progressive and a whole shit ton more thought provoking than before, but hey, that's the way we roll.

We do appreciate our fan's patience and all the support we've been getting. Despite whatever life decides to throw at us, we battle through it and carry on. We have some new things in store for you and we think you're gonna like it! \m/

Festival Season 2016 Shredmonton

Our next show is Friday May 6 at the Brixx, part of the Shredmonton Metal Festival and Conference with Dying Fetus, Thunderstone and Goatwhore. Featuring over 20 heavy hitting bands over the course of 3 days at The Starlite Room and The Brixx Bar and Grill (same building), as well as a multi-room conference located in the Shaw Conference Center.

Good Things to Come in 2016

Happy New Year! For us at the Armifera base, 2015 was a year of change. Jordan decided to pursue a career in the IT industry and Patrick needed to take a sabbatical from the band. Their departures left some big shoes to fill right before going into the summer festival season and anyone who has played in a band before knows it's not easy to find members with the right chemistry. That being said, we're happy to officially welcome Kyle LeBlanc on guitar and Cam Beech on bass as permanent members of our crew. With the band finally whole again, we plan to get back to writing our second album...just after a few more shows early this spring.

2016 is so far shaping up to be a busy year for us. We already have a bunch of shows lined up including the Wacken Open Air Battle of the Bands in April. We were also pushed through to the final round of the LME Showcase festival scheduled to be somewhere around mid March. New dates will be posted as soon as details are finalized. Between writing, practicing and performing live, we'll be lucky to get any sleep. Then again, sleep can be a bit overrated - especially when there's music to be made!

- Cheers!
